(Day-1) Evening- Colors of The Mother Earth


Colors of the mother earth was a poster making competition. There were 7-8 teams with around 3-4 people in each team.  They were to create art out of natural occurring things or by using natural colors .  Example leaves for a green color, sand for a brown color, turmeric for yellow color and sticks as an element in the art .The rule included not to harm or pull out any living organism in the process. The aim of the competition was to show that even without the use of sophisticated products which can harm the environment, nature is enough to create anything we want.  The competition lasted for 4-5 hours  and the final or the winning picture was facilitated by the chief guest on the fifth day at the transit camp campus during the closing event.

Evening Event: Colors of the Mother Earth

As part of the World Ecology Day celebrations, the evening event featured Colors of the Mother Earth, a poster-making competition designed to promote eco-conscious creativity. Held at the transit camp campus, this event invited participants to create vibrant artwork using only naturally sourced materials, showcasing the beauty and sustainability of natures own colors.


Creating Art from Nature's Elements


The competition brought together 7-8 teams, each with 3-4 members. Teams were instructed to use natural resources for their artwork, such as leaves for green, sand for brown, turmeric for yellow, and sticks as structural or decorative elements. A key rule emphasized non-destructive sourcing, requiring participants to respect the surrounding environment by not harming any living organism. This approach highlighted the creative potential of natures palette and demonstrated that art can thrive without synthetic materials.


Teamwork, Creativity, and Sustainable Practices


For 4-5 hours, participants worked together, exploring the textures and hues offered by natural elements. The event encouraged teamwork and an appreciation for natures abundance, as each team transformed found materials into unique designs.

  • Team Collaboration: Each team brought together varied perspectives, showcasing how group creativity can bring nature-inspired concepts to life.

The winning teams artwork was celebrated by the chief guest during the closing event on the fifth day, symbolizing the harmony between creativity and ecological mindfulness. This competition served as an inspiring reminder of the artistic possibilities that exist within nature, encouraging participants to view the environment as both muse and medium.
