Eco Quiz
On August 27th, 2023, Oasis, in collaboration with the Quiz Cell of IISER Berhampur, organized the Eco Quiz Challenge to raise awareness about environmental issues in a fun and engaging way. The quiz covered a variety of topics related to ecology, environmental science, and conservation, attracting around 20-25 participants. The event successfully combined education with entertainment, encouraging active learning in a lighthearted atmosphere.

Collaborating for Fun and Learning: The Eco Quiz
On August 27th, 2023, Oasis, in collaboration with the Quiz Cell (QCell) of IISER Berhampur, organized an engaging and educational quiz event centered around ecology and environmental conservation. The aim of the Eco Quiz Challenge was to raise awareness about pressing environmental issues while providing an enjoyable and interactive experience for the participants. The event was open to all students, whether seasoned environmentalists or newcomers to ecological issues, and encouraged everyone to learn and contribute to a healthier planet.
This collaboration between Oasis and QCell brought together diverse groups of students, combining the knowledge and organizational expertise of both teams. The event was designed to combine education with entertainment, making learning about ecology both fun and memorable for all participants.
Engaging Content and Mind-Boggling Questions
The quiz covered a wide array of topics related to ecology, environmental science, and conservation, offering participants an opportunity to test their knowledge on various environmental challenges. The questions were designed to be both educational and thought-provoking, with many participants finding them mind-boggling yet enjoyable. The wide range of topics sparked curiosity and motivated everyone to think critically about global and local environmental issues.
Participants eagerly tackled questions on topics like climate change, biodiversity, waste management, and conservation, challenging both their knowledge and their creativity. This mix of challenging and engaging questions ensured that the quiz was intellectually stimulating while remaining enjoyable for everyone involved. It also provided a platform for learning through both competition and interaction.

With around 20-25 participants attending, the event saw high levels of engagement. Every participant actively participated, making it a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere where knowledge and ideas were freely shared. The quiz encouraged discussions among participants, who exchanged insights and expanded their understanding of ecological issues while having fun.
The event's success was largely due to the smooth coordination between Oasis and the Quiz Cell, particularly the efforts of Auromic, who led the coordination and ensured everything ran smoothly. Their collaboration made the event seamless and ensured that participants had an enjoyable experience while enhancing their environmental awareness.
The event ended with a congratulatory note for the winners, whose knowledge of ecology and environmental science earned them merit positions. The Eco Quiz Challenge was not just a fun competition, but also a reminder of the importance of being informed and proactive in protecting our planet.
