Campus Nature Walk
The Oasis Club organized a Campus Nature Walk to foster a deeper appreciation for the ecological diversity within the campus. Students were divided into four groups, each tasked with exploring and documenting different aspects of the environment. One group focused on bird species, recording sightings of the black drongo and other avian residents, while another studied the local insect population, identifying various butterflies and other species. A third team cataloged the campuss diverse plant life, mapping their locations and photographing specimens. Throughout the walk, students encountered new species, gaining practical field research experience and enhancing their understanding of biodiversity. Oasis members played a key role in guiding the groups, sharing their expertise and enriching the learning experience. The event concluded with a group discussion, where participants shared their findings and reflections, reinforcing the importance of ecological awareness. The success of the nature walk exemplified Oasis's commitment to environmental education and engagement at IISER Berhampur.

Data Collection
