DAY 5 Screening of Web Two Waves  A Documentary for Environmental Awareness


On the fifth day, we held a documentary screening titled "Web Two Waves," in collaboration with an institute event celebrating World Environment Day. The documentary, narrated by Prajna and edited by Subrat, received an overwhelmingly positive response from the audience.

Following the screening, the winner of the first day's poster-making competition was honored by the chief guest with a prize. The institute appreciated the winning artwork so much that it was framed and added to the institute's collection. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Azhar and Dr. Viswas for their invaluable support in making this collaboration a success. Later that evening at the permanent campus, winners of other events were also felicitated with various prizes.

On the fifth day of World Environment Day celebrations, the Oasis Club hosted a documentary screening titled Web Two Waves, which was organized in collaboration with the institutes broader environmental festivities. Narrated by Prajna and edited by Subrat, the documentary captivated the audience, sparking reflection on pressing ecological issues and inspiring a call to action. The film delved into the impacts of human activity on ecosystems, the importance of biodiversity, and the urgent need for conservation efforts. Attendees responded enthusiastically, appreciating both the documentarys insightful content and its engaging presentation style.

Following the documentary screening, the winner of the first days poster-making competition was honored in a special award ceremony. The winning artwork, celebrated for its creativity and strong environmental message, was framed and permanently added to the institutes art collection. This gesture underscored the institute's commitment to encouraging artistic expression as a powerful tool for environmental advocacy. The chief guest personally presented the prize to the winner, highlighting the importance of creative contributions in raising awareness about environmental issues and applauding the artists efforts in visual storytelling.

Their encouragement played a vital role in making the event series both impactful and memorable, further enhancing the institute's commitment to environmental education.

The Web Two Waves screening and award ceremony marked a meaningful close to the institutes World Environment Day celebrations. Through a combination of documentary storytelling, artistic recognition, and community acknowledgment, the event highlighted the power of collaboration in fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.
