Wiki-Credits

The planning and initiation of the new Oasis website began in March 2024 with the team at that time. The website was solely designed and developed by Subrat (Batch 2021), who served as the coordinator of Oasis from February 2023 to March 2025. He single-handedly handled the design, framework, development, coding, execution, testing, and functionality of the website. Meanwhile, other members of the club contributed by providing content, visuals, records, and documentation to populate the site. A definite database and content schema was developed, and most of the content was later structured based on this framework, incorporating information from past and present website planning instances. The visuals used on the Oasis website belong to multiple creators who submitted them at different times, as well as images captured by Oasis members during various field events and sessions.

Development Process

Website development started in March 2024 and went through multiple iterations and modifications due to the academic and personal commitments of the involved members. Despite several challenges, the project advanced through continuous efforts. The entire website was hardcoded on the LAMP stack by Subrat, requiring countless hours of work and dedication. After many sleepless nights, the framework was finally functional and ready to be populated. With the 2024 Oasis team (not to be confused with the academic batch), the website was enriched with event visuals, documentation, records, and more, bringing it to life.
