Lovelace Society, the Tech Club at IISER Berhampur, played an active role in Invenio, the institute’s annual science
fest, by organizing Sūgakukettō—a high-stakes, multi-round competition designed to challenge participants'
problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and technical expertise.
1. Online Challenge: The event began with a fast-paced online qualifier where participants had to solve coding
puzzles, logic-based problems, and algorithmic challenges. Speed and accuracy were key, as incorrect answers or delays
led to elimination.
2. Game Show Round: The top-performing contestants from the online round advanced to an interactive game show
format, where they tackled live problem-solving challenges under time constraints. Quick thinking and teamwork were
crucial to progressing further.
3. Escape Room Challenge: The final stage was an escape-room-inspired challenge that tested both technical
skills and strategic thinking. Contestants had to decode clues, crack codes, and solve intricate puzzles to complete
the challenge before time ran out.
With its high-energy and competitive nature, Sūgakukettō pushed participants to think critically under pressure. Only
the most resilient and resourceful minds made it to the top—do you have what it takes to conquer the challenge?
