The Publications and Outreach Council (POC) at IISER Berhampur oversees all student-led publications and outreach initiatives. With a mission to make science accessible to all, the council works to build a socially responsible community where knowledge is shared beyond campus.
The council actively engages with local communities through educational and social initiatives. By fostering curiosity, improving access to education, and promoting scientific awareness, the POC aims to contribute meaningfully to society while encouraging students to learn through real-world impact.
Throughout the year, the POC organizes events related to education, public engagement, and societal development. It also coordinates and supervises clubs and committees working in the publications and outreach domain, acting as a channel for student efforts to create public impact.
