IISER Berhampur’s annual sports and fitness event is called “Lakshya” and is conducted in the first and second week of February to foster the spirit of sports and encourage physical fitness among the student communities on the campus.
LAKSHYA 2026: An Inter House Sports Tournament involving all the sports conducted in IISM. Students of the entire institute are divided into 4 houses and the 4 houses will compete against each other in multiple sports for points. The house with the most points will be crowned the CHAMPION OF LAKHSYA.
Our motive through this tournament is to promote sports and physical well being among the students of the institute. This tournament will promote teamwork, senior-junior interaction and sportsman spirit. Through this tournament we are hoping to find the future stars to DOMINATE IISM
