SWISH (Basketball Club)

Hey there, welcome to Swish – IISER Berhampur’s official basketball club!

At IISER Berhampur, basketball isn’t just a sport; it’s a bond. What started out as casual evening shoots on the hostel court soon turned into something much bigger for most of us. Many of our current players came from different sports, picked up a ball just for fun, and ended up falling in love with the game. The court being right in our hostel premises made it a daily ritual until drills, passes, and friendly matches became a serious part of our lives.

Our journey wouldn't be what it is today without the previous batches: the ones who built this team from the ground up, when we didn’t even have a proper court. Their spirit laid the foundation for what Swish is today: a family built on sweat, shared struggles, and a drive to grow together. Every practice, every pass, every game reflects the trust and fire that keeps us going.

We welcome players of all levels. What matters is your passion. We thrive on teamwork, discipline, and the love for the game and we carry that spirit into every match we play. From inter-batch and inter-house tournaments like NSD and Lakshya, to representing IISER at IISM, there are plenty of chances to show your game and grow with us.
