User Bio -
I am Anshuman Panda, a second-year undergraduate student pursuing a BS-MS dual degree at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Berhampur. My deep curiosity about nature and the environment has been a long-standing passion. Observing landscapes, analyzing rock formations, and exploring diverse ecosystems have always fascinated me. Additionally, I have a keen interest in nature photography, capturing the intricate details of flora and fauna.
Academically, I have been particularly inclined toward Ecology and Biology. After joining IISER, I was introduced to Earth and Environmental Sciences (EES) as an independent discipline, which further broadened my perspective. I was captivated by the interdisciplinary nature of EES, encompassing planetary sciences, geology, petrology, structural geology, and environmental studies. My coursework over the first four semesters has significantly strengthened my enthusiasm for the subject.
